(Why the ‘the3rd3rd’ website has been created.)
For no unusual or exceptional reason, death was rearing its ugly head.
I’m not alone in pairing up ‘death’ with ‘ugly’. And I found myself wondering, why ugly?
Is it because we don’t think about death enough?
Once that train of thought was underway, arriving at the3rd3rd was inevitable. It tries to offer some ways in to thinking about death – and about life too. The intention is to be useful. And that’s includes for anyone who thinks the whole notion of death is ugly. After all, disliking something doesn’t make it go away.
